Visas are no longer needed. Instead once you arrive in Hungary we will take you to the local government office and help you apply for a residence permit. Cost will be $125-$150 and please bring one passport picture for this purpose. Your residence permit will be good for five years (provided your passport is valid that long).

Steps In The Application Process

1 If you will be a first time (first semester) student you need to fill out an application and have three reference forms completed.
If you are currently attending another CCBC campus, please complete a continuing student application.  You may request one from your extension campus registrar.  For these, or other forms, please click the link at the bottom of this page.

2 Send your completed application, reference forms, and $25 application fee to:

CCBCE
Petőfi ut. 562
7041 Vajta, Hungary

3 Once we receive the application materials you will usually receive a decision within a month. This notification comes by a letter in the mail or by an email if time is short before the semester begins. Because of the time required to process an application and to make certain that housing accommodations can be made, we request that you submit your applications no later than SIX weeks prior to the semester's beginning. However, we will accept a "late application" on a case-by-case space-available basis.

The Admissions decision is made on the following basis:

(see application forms below)
1 Spiritual Maturity: Information contained in the application, including the student's Personal Profile Sketch, Spiritual Life Profile, and Statement of Faith. The most important aspect is that the student has a heart to seek the Lord and a desire to grow.

2 Personal References: Recommendations from three sources, one of which must be a pastor.

3 Academic Preparedness: Evidence of completion of high school, a G.E.D. program, or proficiency exam. PLEASE NOTE: All classes will be taught only in English and/or Hungarian.

4 If you are accepted you will receive an acceptance letter, visa information, and class & book list. You will need to send a 200 euro non-refundable deposit. This reserves a place at CCBCE and confirms to us your intention to attend. This 200 euro deposit will be applied to your overall tuition cost.

5 Once accepted you should make flight reservations as soon as possible.

Transfer Students
Transfer students from Murrieta or other Bible college extension campuses should arrange to have their transcripts, and related files, faxed or mailed to us from the registrar's office as soon as possible, prior to the beginning of the semester. It is the policy of CCBCE to accept ALL transfer students who are in good standing. However, we reserve to the right to accept or reject any student on a case-by-case basis. Students from CCBC Murrieta should see the Extension Campus Coordinator about signing up with a group.
