CCBCE is located in a small village 1 hour by public transit from the nearest larger city. The location can be refreshing, rewarding, challenging and focus oriented.

Free weekends can be spent in Budapest or one of the other historic cities of Hungary.

Outreaches involve serving throughout Hungary, and many other European countries.  Students will be required to be a part of one 10-day outreach and at least one weekend outreach during the semester.

There will be approximately 60-80 students here who are serious about their studies. They will be from 15+ different countries. Almost all of them will speak English.

It will be a time to discover more about God, other cultures, and more about you..
 

Internet

Email and Internet
We offer free email to all students that have a gmail email account.

We have an internet cafe where you will be able to access the internet if you purchase a time code from our coffee bar. You do not need to purchase a code to use gmail.

If you bring a lap top computer with a wireless card you can access our internet cafe with your laptop when you purchase a time code from our coffee bar.
 

Outreach

Outreaches

CCBCE Weekend Outreaches: One of our aims is to have students to participate in and reach out to the local Calvary Chapels around Hungary and surrounding countries. These are voluntary outreaches. We encourage you to have some money set aside for a few weekend outreaches. Plan on $150 for three weekend outreaches.

CCBCE Ten-Day Outreaches: Students are required to go on one 10-day outreach. In the past, students have gone to the Ukraine, Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Slovenia, Kosovo, France, Scotland, England, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Poland, Spain, Russia, Croatia, Austria, Finland, France, Khyrgystan, Italy, etc. Plan on a minimum of $500 for an outreach. Money

Obtaining Money
The closest ATM bank machine is about 30 minutes away by bus.

Students are encouraged to use the ATM machine to get money from home. Money from the ATM's will be given in Hungarian Forints.

Do not bring Travelers Checks, they are not used here.
