When we came to the Calvary Chapel Bible College a year ago, we could not have imagined what God desired truly to do in our lives. The MTP program provided us with some much needed training. It would have been a huge, near insurmountable step, for us to immediately go and begin serving there.

However, through our year of learning, God has shown us that He is indeed in control and is guiding our steps. With faith, we know that we can go and be bold warriors for Christ's kingdom. - Tim and Christian


Missions Training

Our Misisons Training Program is directed by CCBCE and runs concurently with our Bible College. The Missions Training Program has two separate semesters and a one month practicum "on the field." If is designed for those who believe that God has called them into the ministry with a special emphasis upon the mission field thus our classes reflect that. We desire to be intensely practical as well as provide the knowledge necessary to move on to the mission field.
This fast track, one year program is for people who desire to be on the mission field in one year, therefore you must have good pastoral references to be accepted into this program.

Missions Classes Offered

Biblical Missions: The purpose of this class is to provide a Biblical model for missions. In doing this we will study the purpose and essence of missions. We desire to give you a greater appreciation for the importance of missions today and the tools to become a missionary according to God's Word.

Inductive Bible Study: This class will focus upon preparing the student to dig into the Word of God on their own for devotional as well as for teaching purposes. The student will learn how to study the Word inductively, as well as principles incorporated into the interpretation of Scripture.

The CCBCE ministries (which include Calvary Chapel Bible College, Calvary Chapel Missions Training, A Vision For Life and Summer of Service) is a unique Bible training ministry that God has raised up to disciple and equip believers of all nations.

Missions Training is a one year program to prepare people for the mission field. It includes a 10-day mission trip & also 30 days on the field at the end of the semester. The semester dates run consecutively with our Bible College semester dates except for the extra 30-days at the end.

Our Missions Training Program and our Bible College have much in common and overlap but there are a few differences. The main difference is the time commitment. Our Bible college program is a 2 year program ending with an AA in Biblical Theology.

Missions Training is a 1 year program resulting in a certificate of completion. The MTP program is a fast-track program for people who want to be on the mission field within one year. We provide you with many opportunities and contacts of churches who need help.

As a MTP students you will:

  • Take fewer credits and focus more on practical service
  • There are 2 classes which are open only to MTP students
    • they are Independent Language study (2 credits)
    • and Missionary Leadership (2 credits).
  • MTP students are not required to listen to the 'Chuck Tapes' which require about 6 hrs per week so that time can be used for practical ministry

As students grow in their relationship with Christ we know that He will direct their lives in worship, service, ministry and godly living in this world.

Our campus is located in the peaceful Hungarian countryside and surrounding forests therefore the student is given an atmosphere to focus upon the Word without the typical demands and distractions of daily living.
