I love doing church websites! Web design is so much fun, but doing it for the Lord is an amazing experience.
It is particularly fun for me because I know people are being reached on the internet everyday, thousands of people. At Pritchard Webpages I run monthly analytics for a lot of my clients, and interpret the results for them. I really enjoy working with the results from Calvary Chapel Arroyo Grande and Covenant Keepers.
One of the things that are tracked are "key words". Those are the words that someone types into google to find a website. At both calvaryag.org and covenantkeepers.org there are many articles written by Pastor Steve Carr. Those articles address various important topics. It is such a blessing to check the keywords for those two websites and see people finding answers they need.
We routinely see questions like "how do I lead as a husband?", "what if your spouse wants to leave?", "how do I deal with my in-laws?", along with many questions on anger.
It is a thrill for me to be a small part of how Pastor Steve Carr and his ministry is reaching so many people with the Word of God.
Another thing I am enjoying is using the Joomla cms to develop client websites. I have been working on perfecting my template creation skills and simplifying the admin side also. Joomla is very powerful, but unfortunately that means it can look a bit complicated to the person editing the site. It isn't really difficult, if you focus only on the tasks you need to do, but visually seeing all the options available can look overwhelming to some. So I have been "editing the editor" to simplify the maintenance tasks. This is very valuable to some clients who maintain their own websites.

or give me a call at 951 970 6172, I offer a free one-hour consultation. I also do website updates for churches. I charge by the hour ($30) and I work as fast as I can, so I don't make a lot of money doing this, but it is a blessing to be able to help serve the Lord this way and help bring the gospel message to people that may not hear it any other way.
