Outreaches
CCBCE Semester Class Trip: Normally we plan one class trip each semester. We have gone to nearby places such as Prague, Vienna, Croatia, and Poland. The cost for these trips are kept as low as possible, the average cost is about $500.
CCBCE Weekend Outreaches: One of our aims is to have the students participating in and reaching out to the local Calvary Chapels around Hungary. These are voluntary outreaches. We encourage you to have some transportation and youth hostel money set aside for a few weekend outreaches to local Calvary Chapels around Hungary. Plan on $150 for three weekend outreaches.
CCBCE Week-long Outreaches: Each semester students are required to go on one week long outreach. These outreaches consist of a team going out to encourage, build up, and come alongside the local church in whatever they need. In the past, students have gone to the Ukraine, Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Slovenia, Kosovo, France, Scotland, England, etc. Costs for the outreach can be anywhere from $150 to $800 depending on where each student decides to go. Plan on a minimum of $500 for an outreach.

Laundry
Washers and dryers are available. The cost is about $4 per load for washing & drying.
Medical Care and Insurance
CCBCE does not offer medical insurance. Students who want coverage while attending here should check their policies at home to see what is covered while abroad or purchase insurance before coming. Hungarian health care is cheaper than the US, so for an occasional doctor visit or minor care the cost is reasonable and affordable. Insurance is not required to attend CCBCE, but is recommended. CCBCE does have a Hungarian nurse living on campus.

Local Transportation
Trains and buses are the main form of transportion. They have a good system that is very reasonably priced and can get you virtually anywhere you want to go. A two hour trip to Budapest by train will cost around 1,900 Forints, or about $12. Transportation by car will not be readily available.
Email and Internet
We offer free email to all students that have a gmail email account.
We have an internet cafe where you will be able to access the internet if you purchase a time code from our coffee bar. You do not need to purchase a code to use gmail. If you bring a lap top computer with a wireless card you can access our internet cafe with your laptop when you purchase a time code from our coffee bar.
Personal Items and Medicines
You will be able to buy basic personal items like shampoo, soap, snacks, and school supplies here. Any speciality items like vitamins, medications, or contact lens solution should be brought from home. These things can not be sent through the mail because customs does not allow it. The nearest “city” is an hour away, we have small stores in walking distance with basic items & food.
